Financial Literacy Workshop Recap

Morgan like many other African American women did not grow up with knowledge of financial education. She had to pave her own way to success and overcome many challenges such as learning how to navigate young motherhood.

One of the key takeaways I learned from this workshop is that "Interest is the penalty you pay for the right to own things in advance before you can actually afford it."
