In addition to this ultimate bundle package you will receive a free digital tutorial complete with every purchase where I will personally guide you step by step to breakdown each section of the guidebook.

For those of you who have a copy already or if you are thinking about purchasing one I have a few tools that will benefit you below.

WHICH SIZE SHOULD YOU GET?

This was probably one of the more confusing parts for me trying to figure out the best binder or folder size to get. I asked my mom if I could borrow one of her binders to get an accurate measurement.

Depending on what the size is for the sheet of paper you use, the standard size being 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper you'll need a slightly larger binder. Binders are slightly larger than the paper they hold; for example, an average 9 3/4 x 11 1/2 inch binder is designed to hold standard 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper.

I would also recommend going up a ring size to 1'' depending on how frequently you plan to use the self-care guide. There are roughly 8 pages out of the "Beginner's Guide To Practicing Self-Care" that you will be writing on frequently so I recommend making several copies if you can.

TOOLS YOU NEED

  • A Printer. I received a lot of questions about printing and I wanted to clarify that you don't need to panic if you do not have a printer. This is an e-book so you can use it electronically. But for those of you who do want a more hands-on experience or if you are a visual learner like me I find printing out visuals is a good way to start. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I know it can seem like a hassle to use a printer but if you want to print high quality 300DPI full color pages then I'd recommend making the investment. I have a Canon printer myself but the choice is yours to make. My top printer brand choices are Canon, HP, Epson, and Brother.

  • Printer Paper. I like to have standard letter size 20 lb. printer paper that you can pick up from Office depot or get delivery from Amazon. You can always upgrade to a thicker paper for a more lux feel. I would recommend a thicker paper like Cardstock to have on hand so that as your making annotations and writing in the guide your work won't bleed through the pages.

  • Hole Punch. I would highly recommend using a three hole puncher rather than a single hole puncher. Your dimensions will come out much more even and it makes the hole punching process work a lot faster than single hole punches. You can punch holes in multiple pages at the same time with a three hole puncher as well. Keep in mind that if you are using a three ringed binder it is best to have a three ring hole punches. Another trick you can try if you don't have a three hole puncher is making pencil marks to ensure you have an accurate hole punch.

  • Paper Trimmer. If you are wondering how to convert these printable pages into planner inserts you will need a paper trimmer. You can use scissors but this can make the process more tedious. When you get ready to print your "Beginner's Guide To Practicing Self-Care" click on 'page setup' (it should be in the lower left-hand corner). Then in the 'page setup' box, where it says 'paper size', click and there should be a custom sizes box that appears. Make sure under 'Page Sizing & Handling' that the "Fit" option is selected. From there you can load your printer paper as usual. Remember not to trim all the pages at once so you don't cut off any important information.

  • Tab Dividers. This last one is optional but I find very helpful especially if you plan on using this e-book frequently. I would recommend tab dividers that are pre-hole punched and I find the plastic dividers to be more durable. You can buy any color you prefer but I would also make sure to get ones with labels as you will find different sections of your self-care e-book require different tasks. I love using tab dividers with pockets like the Avery 8-Tab Plastic Pocket Dividers but the choice is yours. This is a great way to keep your binder organized and have all your notes in one place.

If none of the tools above apply to you and you don't have access to a printer using software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to view and annotate text of permanent PDFs such as parts of the self-care e-Book downloaded for purchase. The beauty of Adobe is that the notes and highlights are saved directly in the PDF and do not expire!

I crafted the "Beginner's Guide To Practicing Self-Care" to be downloadable on all mobile platforms for laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. For example, on the checklist "Care For The Senses" page of the e-book you can actually tap on each individual square with your finger (if you are using a phone, computer or tablet) and under each category you can add a check mark and it will appear! Your work will be automatically saved and can be edited at anytime.
