ABOUT ME
"For years, I have served as a useful source for those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our world. I founded 'Educated Black Queen' with a mission to educate, cultivate, and empower other beautiful black queens by sharing my story."
Destiny Harris earned her Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management at the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Journalism from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, with a minor in Communications. She is certified in Fundraising, Volunteer Management, and Professional and Technical Writing. She is the Public Allies of Central Florida Servant Leader award recipient (2022). She served as a Contributing Writer for the University Press, the Founder of the American Sign Language Club at FAU, and served as a former a Newsroom Writer for the Boca Raton Tribune. She is currently a Marketing and Media Coordinator at a nonprofit organization in Central Florida.
